One of the three winners of the 2024 Grammar Art Show's Grammar 150 Art Prize, this print would make a beautiful addition to any home or office.  There are only 50 prints available and each has been individually signed by the artist.

Explaining his artwork, Jade says:

When I decided to enter the Grammar 150 Art Prize, I started by researching the School. I was first struck by the amazing architecture and then by the beautiful green grounds and gardens. Having never visited the School in person, I wondered if the sketch I drew would do Toowoomba Grammar School justice. To my surprise it did and I was
notified as one of the winners of the prize.

In December I drove to Toowoomba with a friend and visited the School in person. I walked the grounds, felt the history and stories amongst the buildings and started to feel the essence of the place I was wandering. The contrast of the old orange brick, the pristine greens of the ovals and gardens and the endless blue sky was instantly my colour palette. The detail and grandeur in the main building is something I wanted to capture, as well as the line of the trees that draw your eye to the oval which feels like it holds as many stories as the buildings.

I am happy with the final piece and hope that the painting connects with past and present pupils, teachers and families.
